One of the most versatile furnaces - it can be used for bright or black Annealing of ferrous / non ferrous materials, gas carburizing, gas nitriding and many more such processes.

The installation used for annealing under special atmosphere, basically comprises stationary Pit Furnace with removable sealed pot containing the charge. The pot is discharged from the furnace after heat processing for cooling outside, with the charge still sealed in protective atmosphere. The charge is suspended from the lid of the pot by means of heat resisting steel charge carrier for ease of charging and discharging, and to avoid loading the shell of the pot.

The recirculation fan is optionally provided for rapid and uniform heating as also fast cooling.

Pit Furnaces for annealing, with charge weight upto 3 tons can be offered to suit the charge shape and size, with Electric/Oil fired/Gas fired heating and special atmosphere like Nitrogen, Endothermic, Methanol, Aceton, LPG atmosphere gas etc.

Vaccum annealing ensures that greasy substances like left-over lubricants on the charge surface are sucked away under vacuum, leaving clean and bright surface. These are built either as Pit Pot type or Elevator type with trolley pots and hydraulic jack. Stringent quality control during manufacture of annealing pots and use of best quality neoprene seals ensure long and trouble free vacuum annealing.
