Rotary carburizer for gas carburizing of small components are now widely used and its advantages over other furnaces are proved for excellent and consistant results.
Due to thorough mixing of the components inside the rotary retort, the rapid heat up of the components without over heating, a high degree of temperature uniformity is achieved. The rotation of retort also prevents formation of soot deposits on the components carburized.
Retort is manufactured from high grade nickel alloy stainless steel suitable for high temperature. The tilting and the rotary motion of the retort allows more uniform hardening / carburizing in the furnace. Due to smaller construction of retort rapid heat up with less heat loss is possible.
